Free Apple iPad scam

What is the 'free ipad' scam?

The free iPad will be out in the UK..... sometime soon.... honest!

iPad scam hits the internet

As long as there has been the modern wonder that is the internet, there have been those who find the protection it gives them to lie unresistable. This is not going to change simply because a multibillion dollar company like Apple are being targeted. Indeed, the trust that millions hold in a company name like Apple simply makes them more susceptible to scams, and means that many more people are tricked out of their hard earned cash.

Unfortunately for you (and us!), scammers are getting more and more professional. Experts have estimated that thousands, perhaps even tens to hundreds of thousands have fallen prey to the 'free ipad' adverts that have cropped up everywhere of late.

Companies ban scam ads

If you've seen this ad then you're one of potentially millions who may have been scammed

Free Apple ipad scams that have been circulating on facebook etc

If you've seen or signed up to an ad like this then there's a very good chance that your phone number details have been used to sign you up for a premium rate subscription number costing in the region of $10 a month. There are no official figures as to how many people have fallen victim to this scam. Some may argue that massive sites like Facebook should have vetted the ads before placing them. They've certainly been picky enough about accepting my legitimate adverts in the past *sigh*. Nevertheless, they have now been banned.

However, I personally saw them as recently as a week ago, and I'm worried that hundreds may still be losing out by responding to adverts on sites that aren't as scrupulous as FaceBook and Twitter. This is also potentially (and I believe truly) damaging to legitimate freebie referral schemes that give out hundreds of thousands of pounds of gadgets each year, every year.

Why the free iPad from FreebieJeebies system is different

Whilst the 'free ipad scams' promise you a free iPad in return for absolutely nothing - in itself a little unbelievable - FreebieJeebies make no claims to give you your desired gadget (in this case you may chose to receive a free ipad) for nothing, only that it is free.

Seem like the same thing? Let me elaborate a little more. It is free. You pay nothing to sign up to FreebieJeebies for your free iPad, and you pay nothing to receive it. However, we all know that nothing in life is free. So where does that money come from then? From a company that you take out a trial with through FreebieJeebies.

Companies (big, trusted household names like Blockbuster, The AA, Sky, BT, ASDA, Alliance and Leicester, HSBC, LoveFilm, Intuit and Netflix and many many more) are so desperate for your custom that they are willing to pay FreebieJeebies money to get you to try a trial with their company. The money that they pay FreebieJeebies is then used to pay for your gift.

But surely they won't pay for all of it? - No, you're right, they won't. This is why you ask friends and family to try a trial too, and this money is what pays for your free item. The bonus is that there are FREE trials available, with no obligation to continue the service. Obviously we would prefer that you did, as we are promoting trials of these products because we believe that the full version is worth subscribing to.

Why would massive international household names pay for my free iPad?

It's simple, big companies are always paying out millions, and even billions on advertising. As the worldwide recession hits, less people are responding to these conventional adverts by subscribing to the service/buying the the product being advertised.

Referral marketing has been around forever. There are numerous news reports from the BBC's Newsnight programme, CNN, NBC and many more that have proven the freebie referral marketing scene to be 100% legitimate - see my Freebie News Reports page to see these.

FreebieJeebies are now the international market leader in referral marketing, allowing me personally to get over £7000 worth of freebies.

It's like the Sky promotion that runs intermittently, where you refer a friend to Sky and you both get a free £50 Marks and Spencer voucher, only with Freebiejeebies and Free-iPad.co.uk, you refer more than one friend, and you get everything! Plus it's in a form that you actually want it - in this case a free iPad!

If you're ready to get a free iPad - without getting scammed or paying a penny - then you're in the right place.
